THIS IS NOT A SOLIDWORKS DESIGN ROLE, BUT MAY LEAD TO ONE IN THE LONG TERM *** This role will take on the responsibility for optimising packing line machine performance during the shift period. You will be working closely with the shift manager to review working practices and drive costs down. An important task will be to identify reasons for breakdowns, fix issues and solve problems when they occur to keep the lines running, and to prevent breakdowns in the future. Person Specification
This role will suit an individual who is a creative thinker and who constantly strives for improvement.Good electronic and mechanical knowledge is essential. The characteristics suited to this role are thoroughness, diligence and organisation. This role may also suit a graduate providing they can demonstrate they have the right knowledge or experience.
Qualifications & Experience
It would be an advantage if candidates have served a formal apprenticeship and be able to demonstrate that they have worked in an industrial manufacturing process environment, where they repaired and maintained pumps, gearboxes, conveyors. Knowledge of Proseal and Multipond food/punnet processing machines is desirable but not essential.
