An experienced yet "fresh" Packaging Machinery Designer is wanted at a well established design business based in the Dorset / Hampshire area - commutable from Bournemouth.We are seeking creative and highly motivated mechanical design engineers who have proven themselves in the design of paper processing, packaging or food wrapping machinery. The role should be viewed as a long term career opportunity within an experienced SolidWorks design team. This is a position for creative mechanical engineers who enjoy problem solving however this is not a position for designers that have no portfolio examples of complex machinery design projects. We do consider this role to be a somewhat junior role however once again we must point out that new graduates or inexperienced mechanical design engineers will most likely struggle to progress with this application.

Qualifications & Experience
Special Purpose machinery design experience is essential for this role.A hands-on, highly enthusiastic mechanical design engineer who has worked as a packaging machinery designer previously would be ideal. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering with 3+ equivalent years of experience in machinery design. If you have been involved with the workshop or build department within a packaging machinery design organisation then please note that this will also be considered valuable experience.
