Job Description
Our Client is currently seeking assistance in the overflow of project based work.Required is an experienced product design engineer with own SolidWorks or Pro/E Wildfire 5 license, software and hardware. Strong injection moulding design knowledge with regards to component tooling is essential for this role. With the client based in the Manchester area this is a role to be fulfilled remotely. Offering flexibility in working hours allowing for other commitments, on a 30hr week for ongoing months.
Person Specification
Competent 3D component modelling techniques and experience in the design for manufacture are suited to this role.The role requires the design approach of ‘no nonsense’ functional products that work, more than front end conceptual aesthetics skills. Please note without a good experience of product design in a injection moulding & tooling environment candidates will not be considered.
Qualifications & Experience
A product design engineer with strong SolidWorks or Pro-E design and modelling skills with a minimum of five years experience in DFM.Candidates must demonstrate experience of running successful projects individually with professional expertises.
Salary Package
