A Product Designer with a strong portfolio of injection moulded component design projects, mechanism design and general design for manufacture capabilities is wanted for this Oxford based client using SolidWorks 3D CAD tools.This is a very exciting opportunity that would suit a product designer or design engineer who can confidently manage the design of injection moulding parts and assemblies while using SolidWorks design tools. This role is NOT suited to consumer product designers who wish to work on the style of products only. Decisions on your suitability for the role will be made via portfolio examples, phone discussions and face to face meetings which will take place before end of February only. This is a good career move for Product Designers who are interested in the medical, scientific and new technology markets. Person Specification
Self motivated, enthusiastic and assertive product designers are wanted for our client. We expect that the best Product Designers will be highly creative and have a passion for problem solving within the design for manufacture or detail design process. As with many start up organisations, an individual who is adaptable and keen to support a variety of product design projects while still showing a keen interest in becoming a specialist in the given industry sector.
Qualifications & Experience
Product Designers who have successfully managed products from initial concept through to production while also offering a range of design for manufacture capabilities will be very appealing.Project management skills and an appreciation for working within high end quality constraints would be good. A degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or Consumer Product Design with Engineering will suit the role well.
Salary Package
£27,000 to £35,000
