Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer role using SolidWorks for a market leading company to oversee the companies products in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering.Situated near the M1 commutable from Coventry to Luton and the surrounding areas. An experienced engineer with strong mechanical understanding of high-speed rotating components and/or test rig design and manufacture is required. The position is suited to an effective project-manager able to balance the needs of quality, budget and time scales.
Person Specification
A Senior Engineer with a hands on analytical approach and the ability to think creatively to generate ideas and original solutions to technical problems. The opportunity offers long term career prospects for a loyal Senior Engineer, mid career who can demonstrate good technical leadership, work under minimal supervision and motivate others.
Qualifications & Experience
A good Honours degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with Chartered status.Relevant experience in the mechanical design of high-speed rotating parts is essential. Experience with vibration analysis, turbo chargers and NVH would support applications. Hands on design experience using SolidWorks. FEA and CFD experience would be an advantage. This is a senior role and we are looking for a person that has demonstrated the appropriate skill level with at least 7+ years of experience.
