SolidEdge Update Free 2D Drafting Tool

Siemens PLM Software has announced new updates to its free SolidEdge 2D Drafting Tool. Over 2 years ago Siemens PLM Software introduced a free downloadable 2D drafting tool under the SolidEdge umbrella in a move to encourage potential 3D users into the market. Over the past 2 years a total of 180,000 users have downloaded this free SolidEdge 2D Drafting Tool with supporting research suggesting that 21% are planning on making the jump over the 3D design.
The latest enhancements of this product include parametric 2D sketching, 2D Designs that can be refined within SolidEdge functionality ‘Goal Seek’, and a brand new user interface. This 2D product is completely free and can be downloaded by following the below link.
