<description>We are seeking highly talented Mandarin Speaking Design Engineers with the ability to effectively communicate in Mandarin and English.

Solid Contracts is dedicated to supporting the SolidWorks community and while SolidWorks capabilities are required for the role we would consider assertive and confident design engineers that speak both English and Mandarin fluently while having skills in any main stream parametric modeller similar to SolidWorks.

It has been said that China offers a strong base from which UK and other countries can manufacture products with greater cost savings when compared to many other locations around the world. Equally it is our understanding that China is generally viewed as not having the greatest Product Design and innovation capabilities when compared to the UK. Inevitably as markets evolve and education improves, there becomes a higher probability of China producing stronger Product Designers. Solid Contracts Ltd - The SolidWorks Recruitment Company, is seeking Product Designers that speak English and Mandarin while demonstrating a high standard in Creative Product Design and DFM knowledge.

The role involves Product Design, Project Management and Design for Manufacture of audio equipment using SolidWorks 3D CAD software.

This role will allow a suitable design engineer the rare opportunity to start in Product Design engineering while supporting the effective communication of design intent between the UK Design team and the Asian (Mandarin &amp; Cantonese speaking) manufacturers.

Our client is a well established, yet somewhat unknown global organisation that has many consumer brand names common place in high street audio and electrical stores.
